Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Saya platform — including the website at saya.ai, the AI bridal stylist, virtual try-on features, boutique plugins, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Saya Technologies Ltd (“Saya”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. The Service

Saya provides an AI-powered bridal styling platform enabling:

  • Conversational AI styling consultations via voice and text.
  • Virtual try-on of bridal dresses using uploaded photographs.
  • Personalised dress recommendations and shortlisting.
  • Appointment booking with participating boutiques.
  • Analytics and integration tools for boutique partners.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

4. User accounts

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@saya.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service without written authorisation.
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code into the Service.
  • Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or burdens our infrastructure.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these restrictions.

6. Intellectual property

All content, software, designs, trademarks, and technology forming part of the Service are owned by or licensed to Saya and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (including photographs). By uploading content, you grant Saya a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. We do not use your photos to train AI models without your explicit consent.

7. AI-generated content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations, styling suggestions, and virtual try-on images. Such outputs are for informational and inspirational purposes only. Saya makes no warranty that AI-generated recommendations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular needs. You should exercise your own judgement before making any purchasing decisions.

8. Boutique partner terms

If you access the Service through a boutique partner's website, the boutique is responsible for its own services, products, and appointment commitments. Saya is not a party to any transaction between you and a boutique partner. Any disputes regarding products or appointments should be directed to the relevant boutique.

9. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (including payment processors, AI model providers, and calendar systems). Such third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Saya is not responsible for the practices of third parties.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAYA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SAYA IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) £100 GBP.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saya, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Saya with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
